New Track in Health Physics
The Physics Department is launching the only Health Physics Program in The Greater Houston area for the Fall 2008. It is funded by Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and will be an honors level program. A track in pre-medical physics will also be available. A proposal for scholarships from NRC has been approved (see the scholarship brochure below). Radiochemistry and Nuclear Engineering courses in collaboration with UT-Austin. We are also in collaboration with M.D. Anderson Cancer Center Houston.
