MAJOR/ASSOCIATED COURSES FOR THE
BACHELOR OF SCIENCE DEGREE IN PHYSICS
PHYSICS EDUCATION

BY LEVEL AND SEQUENCE

The objective of this concentration is to produce exceptional high school physics teachers. Students take 99 credit hours of core courses and basic physics courses. An additional 24 credit hours is taken within the College of Education. Students should consult with the College of Education to better understand the requirements expected through their program. The present concentration is modeled after its counterpart in mathematics which recommends the education courses EDCI: 310,328,340,350,464, and the Reading courses 400 and 402. The total credit load of this concentration is 123.

Courses Marked ALT are Alternate Courses, where the student only needs to register for enough alternate courses to satisfy the credit requirements for that semester. For any questions, please contact your advisor.
